The personal touch

Situated in an elevated position, overlooking the picturesque Highland Perthshire town of Aberfeldy – nestling in stunning scenery – is the family business, Spirit of Wood. Owners Calum and Nicky have tastefully converted several farm buildings to create a truly unique environment in which to display premium quality, solid wood furniture, giftware and home accessories – all hand-sourced.

Since opening in 2000, Spirit of Wood has seen considerable investment and undergone a remarkable transformation which should really be experienced at first hand to be fully appreciated. From small acorns…

View our range of British and French oak, bespoke pine, teak and leather furniture. Browse through our extensive collection of homeware and giftware. Commission your own furniture design or, simply enjoy a coffee in the beautiful surroundings. Whatever your preference, we look forward to welcoming you to Spirit of Wood.

A very big thank you to everyone who supported our music fundraiser last night. We had an amazing turnout despite the weather conditions and raised just over £2000 for the Social Bite village. Very special thanks also go to Foy Vance and Trees Don't Travel for providing the musical entertainment. We are also very grateful to Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery The Townhouse Aberfeldy The Inn on the Tay Homer Aberfeldy and Trim & Barker who kindly donated prizes for our raffle. We are going to use the money raised to provide sofas for the village and will keep you posted on the project.
